A Different Kind of Roofer

Texan Roofworks isn’t your typical roofing company — and the team behind it isn’t typical either. We’re a veteran-owned and woman-owned business built on the belief that homeowners in North Texas deserve a roofing contractor they can actually trust.

The company is run day to day by its two owners. Elliott Smith brings construction and general contracting experience, along with the process discipline developed through military service and aviation. As a former U.S. Army aviator and FAA Part 107-certified drone pilot, Elliott uses high-resolution aerial imagery to document roof conditions safely and thoroughly. He applies the same checklist-driven approach to inspections, estimates, and roofing projects across DFW. The owners remain directly involved in project communication, scheduling, and quality control, so customers have an accountable local point of contact.

That same standard is what we bring to every inspection, estimate, and roof replacement we complete. In Army aviation, a missed step on a checklist has consequences. We run Texan Roofworks the same way — methodically, honestly, and with accountability at every step.

Texan Roofworks is new to the market, but the experience and values behind it aren’t. If you’re looking for a roofing company with the discipline of a pilot, the grit of a soldier, and the integrity of a woman-owned small business — you’ve found your team.

The Checklist Guarantee

In military aviation, every flight ends with a final checklist. No exceptions. We bring that same standard to every roof we touch. Before we consider any job complete, it goes through a final inspection against our quality checklist. If anything doesn’t meet our standard — or yours — we fix it. No excuses. No extra charge. No exceptions.

That’s not just our promise. It’s how we were trained.
